What is the data source of scRNASeqDB?
Currently, we collect the datasets from NCBI Gene Expression Omnibus, which is an international public repository that archives and freely distributes microarray, next-generation sequencing, and other forms of high-throughput functional genomics data submitted by the research community.
How can I find the latest scRNASeqDB release version?
On scRNASeqDB home page, the latest release version number is provided. In the About->News page, user can find the latest updates of the database.
Why can't I find my gene?
scRNASeq is now searchable by using Official Gene Symbols or Ensemble ID, which are unique symbols and names for human loci, including protein coding genes, RNA genes and pseudogenes, for allowing unambiguous scientific communication. So, please note, synonymous terms other rather official gene symbol will most likely fail to obtain positive hits from the database!
Can I submit data to scRNASeqDB?
All expression data of human single cell in scRNASeqDB is currently curated by our team. If you would like to submit data for one of your publications, please find About->Submission page.
