History

  • June 27, 2016: We renamed SZGR to SZGR 2.0 by adding, curation and annotations of numerous datasets, as well as providing many new features. All new data will be managed/updated in SZGR 2.0. SZGR 1.0, which can be found here, will no longer be updated but will remains available for the users who rely on that data. The original data in SZGR will also be available in SZGR 2.0 so that the new user does not need to search both databases.

  • June 2016, SZGR has passed the screen and is officially online through The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

  • May 2016, SZGR has been going through University security screening.

  • March 2016, SZGR in our Vanderbilt server was temporally shutdown due to our lab move to the University of Texas.

  • As of 12/20/2015, annotations from RegulomeDB, RoadMap, ENCODE, and FANTOM5 were included and updated.

  • In August 2015, we included PheWAS data.

  • July 21, 2015, schizophrenia related SNPs from GWAS Catalog were included. Additional annotation such as enhancer, promoter, and gene expression is now available.

  • 06/18/2015, we added spatiotemporal brain expression data from BRAINSPAN. We now allow users to search for gene expression. We also integrated visualization tools for gene co-expression distribution.

  • March 20, 2015, we annotated PGC2 SNPs using enhancer and promoter from RoadMap brain samples. We combined the following samples for brain tissues:

  • December 28, 2014, PGC2 significant SNPs were included in SZGR.

  • August 2013, protein-protein interaction data were updated.

  • March 2013, pathway annotation were updated using the MSigDB C2 gene set due to limited access to KEGG.

  • December 2012, De novo mutation data and CNV data were added.

  • July 2009, SZGR was moved to Vanderbilt University.

  • May 2009, SZGR was first released at Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics (VIPBG).
